Saturday's Mumbai NMACC Gala included Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Law Roach. Zendaya and Law Roach posed for the first time since his retirement from style.
Rahul Mishra created Zendaya and Law Roach's occasion costumes. Law Roach, a retired celebrity stylist, joined Zendaya and Tom Holland at a star-studded event in India.
On Saturday, celebrities from across the world attended the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre's grand inauguration ceremony.
Zendaya appeared in a translucent violet Rahul Mishra sari with gold and nature-themed decorations. Zendaya also took shots with Roach, her longtime stylist. Mishra created Roach's outfit.
Holland wore a black tux and posed for photos. After shooting photographs, social media videos showed the three interacting at the event.
Zendaya and Roach's first public appearance since his celebrity stylist retirement in March is the gala. Roach stated in a now-deleted Instagram post that fashion industry politics drove him leave.
"If this business was only about the clothing I would do it for the rest of my life but sadly it's not! The politics, lies and false narratives have got me! You won... I'm gone," he wrote.
"I've spent so much time and energy growing this passion and it has become my method of connecting with the world. I don't intend to walk away from it totally,
I am simply going to take some time to step away from celebrity style and concentrate on myself for the first time in over a decade," he added.
Roach said he wanted to collaborate with Zendaya after people were shocked. "So y'all truly believe I'm splitting up with Z.....we are forever!" he tweeted. "She's my sister, not industry love."
The event reunited Zendaya and Holland on the red carpet for the first time since the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" premiere in December 2021.
In June 2021, the pair was sighted together, confirming dating speculations from Marvel's newest Spider-Man flick.
