Selena Gomez Thanks Taylor Swift for Making Sister Gracie's Concert Memorable
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are lifelong friends. On Saturday, April 2, Gomez posted a photo and video from Swift's Eras tour stop in Arlington, TX, on Instagram.
The "Only Murders in the Building" star attended the concert with her 9-year-old sister, Gracie Elliott Teefey, and stepdad, Brian.
"Thank you bestie for letting me and my sissy transfer into your mysterious, euphoric and wonderful world. Glad to know you!" Gomez captioned the video of the sisters dancing to "Delicate."
Gomez and Gracie attended Swift's concert in style. The "Calm Down" singer donned an enormous white cardigan over a white dress to reflect her friend's "Folklore" period.
Gracie's purple dress evoked "Speak Now." Swift gave Gracie her hat in exchange for a friendship bracelet in concert videos. The touching moment showed that Gracie, who is her big sister's best friend, is still a Swiftie.
Swift and Gomez have been friends since before Gracie was born, making their interactions with her adorable. They became friends in 2008 while dating Jonas brothers. Their friendship endured.
In a 2022 Rolling Stone interview, Gomez called Swift her "sole pal in the business." Swift and Gomez discussed their friendship in a 2020 Wall Street Journal interview.
"There has always been this quality of sisterhood," Swift said of their friendship. "When I met her, I knew I would always have her back." Gomez's post exemplifies the mutual feeling.
